About Andy
I bought my first house in 1983... it was a 3-bed semi in Bewdley for £23,750 and my uncle told me it was far too expensive because it was five times the price he had paid for a similar place a generation earlier.
Before that, I'd rented for years, paying off someone else's mortgage month after month.
Today, first-time buyers are, on average, in their 30s (that's much older than I was) and I'd love to help bring that age back down.
That's why I wrote No More Rent... it's a useful starting point guide, and will inspire you if you want to stop renting and start owning.
If you want a better understanding, ask Property Dad (which is my nickname) and no question here is too basic.
Practical, no-jargon help to get you from renting to owning.
